Northern Damselfly Habitat Creation project delivered in Perthshire

Speaking about the project, Sam Hesling of McGowan Environmental, said:

"The project centred around the creation of habitat for the Northern Damselfly, and the photos below show the 'before and after' from both the ground and air. The McGowan Environmental site team worked systematically to ensure that the working area surrounding the ponds were re-turfed as works progressed, leading to the quick recovery of the vegetation."

2024 is shaping up to be the busiest yet for River Restoration and Wetland Habitat Creation at McGowan Environmental, and we look forward to sharing stories from other projects as the year progresses and other projects take shape!
