International Green Apple Environment Award 2019

The Welton Farm Landfill & Riverbank Remediation project undertaken by McGowan Environmental Engineering for Perth & Kinross Council, has won a prestigious International Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice. The project, located near Blairgowrie in Perthshire, competed successfully against more than 500 nominations.

The Green Apple Environment Awards recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. Launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation - an international, independent, non-profit, non-political, environment group - they have become well established as one of the most popular environmental award campaigns.
