About Sam

I joined McGowan Environmental Engineering in October 2020.

As Environmental Contracts Manager, I manage the tendering and contract management elements of all our environmental project works. I ensure we are fully compliant with company policies and procedures, and that our project work programmes are planned and executed in accordance with all relevant legislation. I also monitor and manage the environmental works programme.

I enjoy home life with a young family, gardening and playing music. I love the outdoors with a particular passion for mountain and hill running.

Since 2013 I have been a trustee of a local community charity forest trust, the largest of its kind in Scotland. I regularly volunteer to support their activities and have held chair and vice chair positions.
