About Finlay

I joined McGowan Environmental in 2021 as an apprentice, completing two years of college studying plant machinery and gaining experience operating a wide range of machines, including dumpers and diggers.

Since completing my apprenticeship, I’ve developed a strong range of practical skills through working outdoors on projects including footpath construction and groundwork. My main role has been as a plant operator, and I look forward to further developing my skills, progressing into a supervisor position, taking on greater responsibility and supporting the team.

Outside of work, I love to travel, go hiking with my dog and have friends over, where we enjoy cooking up a feast together.
